Making a Run for it!

Both Mr and Mrs S have been separately smiling uncontrollably at work today.

The usual morning routine starts out a bit like this: Mr S's momma first distracts Leanne while we're outside the apartment (Control Point A) so as to release the parents. Mr & Mrs S bid them goodbye and walk down the stairs. Mr S's momma has recently also taken to then rushing down the lift and standing by the road to wave goodbye to Mr & Mrs S as we pass by in the car. Its a nice little morning ritual.

There was a little twist to this tale today. Leanne refused to be distracted at Control Point A and we thought it most expeditious to let her come down the stairs with us. Momma was huffing and puffing her way down with us and perhaps that explains the breakdown in Control Point B (at the void deck leading to the carpark. Mrs S had to console Leanne while handing her into Mr S's momma's arms. You could see the Eureka bulb coming on in Leanne's head on hindsight because at this point, she says "Walk, walk" which she knows from experience would get her feet back on the ground. And as soon as she was, she made a run for it! She ran towards us in a trail of "kirikurukurukurukirikuru". Like a battle cry or a prison break!

We've got a crafty little princess!
