mother's day

leanne made this card in school for mother's day and said she chose lots of hearts for me. the cards have got more intricate with each growing year.

i hope i will continue to get a mother's day card every year.

Thank you darling, you are the best mother's day present i could ever have.

moving in

we finally moved into our very own home at the other end of singapore on the 2nd of February 2013!

the place was still bare with little furniture and mountains of boxes but we were absolutely thrilled.

leanne loves the pool. the very next day, leanne just picked up her bikini, changed into it and happily posed for me while waiting for daddy to bring her to the pool. these are the things she wouldn't normally do so readily...

leanne in her new school uniform ready for school on monday. she has been a super trooper and made her transition to her new school, class, teachers and classmates without any fuss at all. it's only when i asked, then she told me that she missed playing with her best friend. i hope she makes new friends soon.

leanne's fourth birthday celebration in school

 leanne asked for a chocolate ice cream cake and she got her wish :-)

mr s with another lucas in the foreground. this lucas kept asking mr s if he was the magic man. it was much later then we realized that justin just had his birthday celebration and his parents got in a magician to entertain the kids and hence lucas thought mr s was the magican too for  leanne's birthday celebration

 after the party, mrs s brought leanne to I12 katong to get her birthday presents: popping cooking!!!

 then we made our way to parkway parade to do a bit of art and craft

 and a barney ride....

 then we saw leanne's little cousin, brian, sitting in the crocodile hunter next to us!

 and finally home to do the popping cooking sushi set

 and of course tasting it.

leanne's fourth birthday

as we were busy with packing and planning the move to our new place, we didn't intend to celebrate leanne's birthday other than a simple celebration in school.
however, yee por was keen and even took leave from work so we decided to have a simple bbq at chuan terrace with the familly.
