leanne's doodles

leanne has seen mr s drawing the house for isabel's mommy and she started drawing her own house. She said the four little circles are the windows with rooms behind. her attention to detail also amazes us when she added the little door knob to her door.

the sticks family:  the top right one is mommy, the top left is leanne, the bottom right is mei mei, the bottom left is daddy, spiderman.

 caught me by surprise as she never drew one before, she's been drawing houses with windows and doorwith door knob.

leanne growing up...

There was one morning I took away leanne's tub of stars leaving her with an empty bowl as punishment for not listening repeatedly. Then I saw her sitting on the floor facing the gate with her empty bowl and her baby rabbit next to her. I heard her telling her babby, the rabbit, that mommy had no star in her bowl. she then took the rabbit's hand to pretend to put some stars into the bowl....

does your boss need a break?

we told leanne last night that she wasn't going to school today and she asked why and said that she wanted to see her friends. mrs s had to tell her that there would be no one in school and the teachers would not be there. leanne then asked 'why?' mrs s answer was ' the teachers need a break'.
this morning while having breakfast, leanne asked mrs s ' does your boss need a break?' her little mind had been working overtime to try to get us to stay at home with her! *-)

indoor playground

this is only our second time bringing leanne to a ticketed indoor playground.  the only reason we went that day was because megan's parents were bringing megan there and we decided to tag along...

leanne liked the monkey pole. she started off quite docile and gradually grew more adventurous and got into her gymnastics moves...heheh......
