shoes and shades

leanne just rapidly piled on the shades onto her little face when she saw them on a rack. perhaps she knew i would stop her if she didn't do it fast enough.

  and same for the heels....

she's much better at it than mummy.

leanne had consistently only asked one present for christmas last year- a scooter...

she was so thrilled and started posing while waiting for ah ta to set it up for her.

still trying to catch up with the events over the last few months...

big group outings with the cousins and aunties...

home for christmas

the wait was long but the duration was short...
nevertheless, leanne was so happy to see her older cousins and yee mas. she has this natural affinity for them. she is always very shy with our friends regardless of the number of times they have met before and yet she took to her cousins the moment they step out of the airport arrival halls. maybe it's in the dna...

school family day

this was the first family day organized by pat's schoolhouse. it was at the kid's explorer indoor play station in downtown east. it felt more like parents watching the kids play....

leanne's favourite department

i would have thought any little child's favourite department in a store would be the toys but not leanne. her fave is the kitchen appliances department.

 

and her favourite store is now ikea as it has the kitchen section with the kitchen utensils

 plus the nice comfy beds....

  and of course the soft ice cream and the refillable sprite at the canteen

bishan park

time flies. it's been almost six months since we have moved to serangoon gardens. our favourite nearby destination is bishan park. leanne loves it.

 

she's at the stage where she insists on picking her own attire...

and she's a firm believer in saving the best for later...
