pool with daddy

leanne likes the pool and water play tremendously. she would enjoy every step, every paddle in the pool... and gets really excited when we say we're going swimming.

brunch with the baileys

leanne and tess

leanne loves the rocking pony

the view is pretty good up here

i'm coming down now

cheese!!!

lunch with the baileys at brussels sprouts at east coast parkway. it's a nice family brunch place with a great view of the sea and a little outdoor playarea for the little ones. children get to eat for free as well!

leanne was really excited about meeting tess again and was telling everyone she was going to meet tess. they didn't talk to each other when they met but i think leanne had fun hanging out with tess. leanne had been calling tess on the phone almost everyday telling her what she's been up to.

leanne's first steps of independence

day 2:

playing at the outdoor slide

day 3: waterplay day

cannot cannot, telling her little classmate what she can do...

day 3:

snack time

we also heard that she was telling one classmate that she would tell daddy....

day 4:
storytime

a very tired leanne after the first two days...

after three days of induction when mr s gradually cut down the amount of time spent with leanne in class, leanne was brillant with being left in school today-the fourth day. Mr s dropped her off at class and grandma picked her up. No fuss from leanne at all.

feedback from the teacher and course co-ordinator that leanne is settling down well. on her second day, leanne was described as assertive, on her third day, she was described as bossy! think it's the only child syndrome. hopefully, leanne will learn the correct social skills in a group.

leanne's mandarin class didn't get on so well though. she wasn't able to engage and was walking around on her own while the chinese teacher was talking. however, today she came home and said xi shou with washing hands action. so this is a good start!

leanne's first day in school

all ready for first day in school

today is leanne's first day in school. leanne's first proper school is Shaws at Mountbatten. we chose this school as it has its own outdoor space for the little children to run and play. something that we don't have with our current living environment.
daddy took her there and observed her for the morning. she was superb!!!
